The experiences to be had in different parts of the country are unique. So, do some homework before you hone in on exactly where you would like to go. Is your priority the wildebeest migration in the Serengeti National Park? Is it the Big Five that you really want to see? Or would the opportunity to encounter a pack of endangered African wild dog be more exciting? And did you know you can go chimp trekking on a Tanzanian safari? There are some real off-the-beaten-track options in Tanzania, as well as some must-see highlights.
Upon your arrival, you will find our company representative at the airport waiting for you with a special board featuring your name.
He will drive you directly to your accommodations in Arusha so you can relax and get ready for your safari. On the way, he will explain different things about our beautiful country and peaceful people before engaging on an optional city tour.You will depart from Arusha in the morning and head to Tarangire National Park, arriving before midday. Once in the park, you will be able to enjoy both a morning and afternoon game drive with a delicious lunch in the afternoon. In the early evening, after your game drive, you will exit the park and make your way to your campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.
Tarangire National Park – main attractions: - Land of giants – herds of elephants and massive baobab trees. - Over 550 different bird species – migratory and permanent. - Abundant biodiversity. -The Tarangire River. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the Lodge.After breakfast, our safari guide will pick you up with a Tanzanian smile from your lodgings for the drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Manyara, a relatively small but diverse park 120km west of Arusha, is so named for the shallow salt lake that occupies a good seventy percent of the park's land.
Flooding and drying seasonally, this soda lake is home to thousands of flamingos and over 500 other bird species. While exploring the park, you'll see monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, elephants, and with some luck, lions lounging in the trees. The park is known for its diverse landscapes, not only open grassy plains but also primate-filled woodlands and baobab-dotted cliffs. You will have lunch at a picnic site arranged by a professional guide. After your full day in the park, you will drive to our lodgings, where you will relax and enjoy a sumptuous meal with our comfortable quarters awaiting you.You'll depart Karatu in the morning after a hearty breakfast and make your way to the famous Serengeti National Park. En route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will have a chance to see some views of the Ngorongoro Crater before reaching the Serengeti gate. After lunch, you will head out on an afternoon game drive to look for some of the wild game before sunset and dinner at the campsite.

You'll head out after a cup of coffee and experience the wilderness and its magnificent creatures as they wake up among the dew-covered grasses. Later, you will head back to camp for breakfast and some relaxation. In the afternoon, you will head out once more for another chance to explore the plains in search of African wildlife as you exit the park. Late afternoon you will be heading to Ngorongoro for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Main attractions of an early morning game drive: - The best time to spot the animals and birds. - Animals are more active than in the afternoon. - The best chance of experiencing predators on a hunt. - The best time to capture lovely pictures in beautiful light.After breakfast, you will drive heading to Ngorongoro Crater. You will depart the campsite with a picnic lunch and descend into the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. You'll explore the magnificent world of diversity that lies within, surrounded by the imposing walls that encircle the reserve. It is possible to see all of Africa's Big Five within the crater among a vast array of other wildlife, including hundreds of bird species. You'll enjoy a full day in the crater before heading back to Ngorongoro Simba Campsite for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Ngorongoro Crater – main attractions: - The largest unbroken volcanic caldera on Earth. - Home to Africa's Big Five. - You'll witness Maasai tribesmen living among wild animals. - Exceptional natural landscapes.After breakfast, you will head to Lake Natron. The drives from the Ngorongoro conservation area are remote, with a desolate, other-worldly beauty and an incomparable feeling of space and antiquity.
The roads pass through untraveled Maasai land, with small bomas and big mountains often in view in a wild, cauterized landscape. From June to November, at the lake, around two million flamingos gather. On the way to the lodge, you can make a stop at the hot springs. You will stay overnight at Africa Safari Lake Natron. The lodge has a swimming pool that is embedded in its surrounding landscapes and comes complete with stunning views of neighboring Mount Ol Doinyo Lengai, a still-active volcano. You'll enjoy the view from the lodge. You can take a 10-minute walk to the lake with your guide.In the morning, your guide will take you for an adventurous walk to the waterfalls (make sure to bring walking shoes). Several Maasai villages are found nearby and your guide for the hike will be a Maasai. After lunch, you will drive exiting the lake returning back to Arusha.
